On August 21st, the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Yuanping City led the organization of a "Mining Product Production Enterprise Symposium" for key enterprises in the coal mining industry. The meeting was chaired by Li Meixiang, Director of the National Center for Safety Signs of Mining Products (hereinafter referred to as the "National Center for Safety Signs"), and attended by Yang Zhixin, former Chairman of the Pingshi Federation of Industry and Commerce and Shanxi Dongchang Industrial Co., Ltd., who delivered a speech. Technical backbones from the National Safety Standards Center and Taiyuan Testing Center, as well as representatives from the former Pingcheng Coal Machinery Association and over 50 enterprises, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the heads of the National Safety Standards Center and Taiyuan Testing Center gave authoritative interpretations on hot topics such as "New Trends in Safety Standards Reform and Development", "Integrated Certification Audit Process", "Latest Requirements for Coal Mine Safety Regulations", and "Key Nodes of Technical Review". The attending companies had face-to-face exchanges with the expert group on common issues such as the timeliness of safety standard application and the applicability of testing standards. The on-site interaction was lively and the Q&A was precise.
Yang Zhixin emphasized in his speech that the safety of mining products is the lifeline of mining production. Private enterprises should actively adapt to the new requirements of safety standard management, increase investment in technological research and development, and build a solid product quality and safety defense line with higher standards. He stated that the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce will establish a "problem feedback special team" to systematically sort out enterprise demands and submit them to the National Center for Safety Standards, continuously promote the optimization of the audit process, and effectively implement the purpose of "serving the development of the association".
After the symposium, staff from the National Center for Safety Standards and Taiyuan Testing Center conducted on-site visits to multiple production lines, answering questions on site with "one enterprise, one policy" to further improve service accuracy. The attending enterprises generally reflected that this meeting was pragmatic and efficient, providing a clear path for enterprises to solve the problem of applying for safety standards, and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the original coal mining machine industry.
