On March 11th, our city and Taiyuan University of Science and Technology held the unveiling ceremony for the city university cooperation signing. Bai Peikang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Liang Weiguo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, Feng Xiaoning, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of our city, attended and delivered speeches. Chang Yongfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the meeting. Liang Lijun, Zhang Junsheng, Zhang Jinrong, Zhang Weihua, Li Baoshan and relevant department heads, as well as coal mining enterprise leaders, attended the signing ceremony.
Before the meeting, leaders from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology visited and exchanged ideas with our company's roller workshop. Our Chairman Yang Zhixin and Vice President of Technology Yin Renqiang personally accompanied and explained the roller production process.
At the meeting, the attendees watched the promotional video of Yuanping City. Zhang Weihua introduced the overall situation of the coal mining industry in Yuanping City; Liang Weiguo introduced the school situation and the intention of cooperation between the city, school, and enterprises;
Feng Xiaoning pointed out that a strategic cooperation agreement has been officially signed with Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. This is another major measure taken by Yuanping City to deepen its "talent driven city" and "innovation driven" strategies, and it is also a vivid practice for both the school and the local authorities to implement the deployment of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on the integration of education, science and technology, and talent. As a resource-based city in central Shanxi, Yuanping has anchored its main focus on "industrial transformation and energy revolution" in recent years, and is fully committed to building emerging industrial clusters such as coal machinery equipment manufacturing towns, green power parks, and hydrogen energy application demonstration bases. Taiyuan University of Science and Technology has top disciplinary advantages in fields such as mechanical engineering, materials science, and intelligent manufacturing, which is highly compatible with Yuanping's dual wheel drive industrial layout of "coal machinery+new energy". This signing is a strategic choice made by both parties to connect their "needs" with their "abilities" and leverage their "growth points" with their "intellectual strengths".
Feng Xiaoning emphasized that city school cooperation should closely follow the original reality and work hard in three dimensions. One is to jointly build an innovation platform, overcome "key technologies", and jointly establish key laboratories or engineering technology centers around the direction of intelligent coal mining equipment, research and development of new energy materials, and low-carbon coal chemical industry, to promote the "first trial and first use" of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology research achievements in Yuanping. The second is to jointly cultivate skilled talents, solve the "structural shortage", promote the "order based training" and "dual teacher training" models, and provide targeted transportation of professional talents in fields such as mechanical manufacturing and energy engineering; Support the collaboration between the expert team of USTC and Yuanping Enterprise to establish a "Professor Workstation" for technical training and project incubation. The third is to jointly promote industrial upgrading, connect the "last mile", establish a two-way docking mechanism between the list of scientific and technological achievements transformation and the list of enterprise needs, and focus on promoting the patented technologies of USTC in the fields of intelligent mining equipment, hydrogen energy storage and transportation, giving priority to industrialization in Yuanping enterprises. At the signing ceremony, Deputy Mayor Zhang Weihua, on behalf of the former Pingping Municipal Party Committee and Government, signed a city university cooperation agreement with Li Jinhong, Dean of the Science and Technology Research Institute of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology; Representatives Yang Zhixin and Wu Meisheng from Yuanping Enterprise signed a school enterprise cooperation agreement with Li Jinhong and Huang Zhiquan from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology.
